# Event Time now available in Derived Properties

Customers can now use \`Event Time\` as a selectable property when building Derived Properties. This means you can create derived properties like \`registration date - Event Time\` to compute things like "days since registration".

## What it is

**What it is:** Event Time is now a selectable property in the derived property builder. You can pair it with any date-type user property to compute time differences: for instance, 'registration date - Event Time' gives you days since a user registered. Previously, Event Time wasn't available as an input here, so calculations like this required workarounds or lived outside Amplitude entirely.

**Where:** Data → Properties → Derived Properties. `Event Time` now appears as a selectable property in the derived property builder.

**Who:** All customers, including EUDC.

**When:** GA. Available now.
