# Archive and Restore Guides and Surveys Themes

Unlike guides and surveys themselves, themes could not be restored after deleting them. Now, themes work the same as the guide and survey primitives and can be restored after they have been archived.

## What it is

**Description:** Themes now work just like guides and surveys — archive them instead of permanently deleting, and restore them any time if you change your mind. We've also made it easier to manage large theme libraries by surfacing which themes are actively in use by a guide or survey.

**Where:** Access via Guides and Surveys → Themes page. **When:** Available now on all plans.
